More About Me
I have felt the Lord calling me to be a missionary since I was very young. I took my first leap into the mission field in 2015 when I enrolled in a Discipleship Training School(DTS) with Youth With a Mission(YWAM) Kona. During my DTS my team and I traveled to Swaziland(Estwatini) to build a kitchen for a community center there that would be used by the church to reach out into the community. We later traveled to St. Paul to connect with the GodTown Mission Training Center where we worked closely with the center and the missionaries serving the community. After leaving GodTown to finish my DTS with YWAM I felt the Lord highlighting the United States to me, He opened my eyes to see that the people who were my neighbors and coworkers here need Him just as much as the people in third world countries overseas. Later that fall I followed the Lords leading and moved to be apart of the urban mission lifestyle at GodTown long term. I love working with the center to see transformation and restoration in the lives of those in the community.
On top of being engaged full time with the GodTown Mission Training Center I am currently going to school to get my GED! This has been an exciting step for me and I am excited about all of the doors this will open for me in the future! In my spare time I enjoy working creatively as a mixed media artist. I also sell my art to support my living expenses so I will be posting soon on my Facebook to showcase some of my available pieces and provide information on how to go about purchasing any you might be interested in! In this season I am really seeking the Lord to see His fullness in every area of my life. I am excited to keep you all updated on what that looks like monthly!
