About Bridget
Hello! My name is Bridget A. Rotter, and I have been serving as a full-time missionary with Godtown in St. Paul, Minnesota, for the past six years.
After graduating from MorningStar School of Ministry in 1999, I felt God calling me into ministry. During my time there, I went on a mission trip that “ruined” me in the best possible way. Seeing God move powerfully in people’s lives gave me a deep passion to dedicate my life to sharing the Gospel.
Through personal encounters with the Lord and many prophetic words from others, God confirmed this calling on my life. He eventually led me to Godtown, where I completed their missionary training school and have since grown into a leadership role within the ministry.
Today, I serve in a variety of outreach ministries focused on bringing the love, power, and hope of Jesus Christ to the inner city.
One of my primary roles is leading our school-year R.O.C.K. program (Reaching Our City’s Kids), which runs from September through May. This weekly discipleship program reaches inner-city children with the Gospel through Bible lessons, mentoring, worship, meals, and small groups. Our heart is to help children grow in a personal relationship with Jesus and to connect both them and their families to a local church community where they can continue growing in their faith.
I also help lead our homeless outreach ministry. Each week, we go into homeless camps to bring food, clothing, and practical support while building meaningful relationships. I love seeing how the Holy Spirit leads us to “stop for the one.” We offer prayer, encouragement, salvation, healing, deliverance, discipleship, and practical assistance as the Holy Spirit directs—whether that means helping someone find addiction treatment, medical care, shelter, or simply providing a listening ear and the love of Christ.
In addition to these ministries, I:
-
Help lead teen outreach and evangelism opportunities each summer and throughout the year
-
Participate in prayer and worship weekly
-
Mentor women within our missionary community
-
Help facilitate the Elizabeth House, one of our women’s missionary homes
-
Build relationships with families of all backgrounds in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul, helping them grow in their relationship with God and, in many cases, giving them their first meaningful experience of Christ’s love through a personal relationship
-
Train and equip others from local churches in outreach and evangelism
My passion is to see people encounter Jesus, be transformed by His love, and become lifelong disciples who grow in an intimate relationship with Him and are rooted in a healthy church family.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the ministry God has called me to. Your prayers and financial partnership make it possible for me to continue serving full-time and sharing the hope of Jesus with children, families, and those in great need.
